Boston Stay Strong

I’m just getting internet access today to read about what has happened in Boston – we have a lot of power outages here in Ecuador, and I had heard a bit about it from a small village on Wednesday morning. But it breaks my heart, and I just wanted to express my closeness to everyone back home in Boston, especially those, including many friends, for whom the marathon is a special event (even if you’re a marathon enjoyer and not a runner!) and those who live and work and worship in the Back Bay; and I also give thanks to the response of everyone there, from my own friends and all the Bostonians that the media present, to the hidden workers and medical and emergency staff. From here in Ecuador, you are appreciated and in prayer!
