My Dad, Arthur Kiley

My Dad, Arthur, passed last night into eternity at about 9 o’clock in a special time for Jesus the Divine Mercy, with his family close by his side, thanks be to God. Thank you to all you who stop by this blog for your support over the past years, it has all been a support and part of the graces my father has received too, and please keep him and my family in your prayers.

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in exchange for you. Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Fear not, for I am with you.” (Is 43:1-5)

  1. Oh goodness, Jerome, I hadn’t looked in for a while. I’m awfully sorry for your loss, but as you know, he has truly gone Home– where he was actively Loved and Awaited. Still, it’s hard to become an orphan, isn’t it? This is why God gives us friends and community (and His own Mother) as well as family — He wills to not leave us orphans. Special prayers tonight for all who are closest in heart.

  2. Thank you Carol – it’s been a while since I myself have caught up with everyone on the blogs … thanks, my father is closer than ever before, but is still missed. But we are together going forward … you know, I was just assigned to visit an orphanage this year, thanks be to God. As usual, He allows us the sufferings because they are going to be the very things through which He loves and reaches important people and does His greatest things … it is great to be with Him….
